1868 Ulises S Grant Political Presidential Campaign Badge Pin Ferrotype Tintype. A campaign pinback that promoted the presidential campaign of the 18th U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant (1822-1885). Brass rim with the portrait of Ulysses S Grant. It measures approx 1.5" wide. The complete item measures approx 3" wide. This badge seems to have been manufactured by Scovill Manufacturing Company in Waterbury, Connecticut, around 1868. Black and white tintype portrait. Some tiny scratch on the tintype portrait.
